Excelsior Boutiques Use Passion for Fashion for Good

Excelsior, Minnesota (PressExposure) May 03, 2009 -- Recently two Excelsior boutiques teamed up with the Minnesota Viking's and Gopher's wives to put on the "Pigskin Passion for Fashion Show"

Ooh La La and the House of Amore and Fede both on Water Street in Excelsior, participated in the fashion show to benefit Hennepin County Newborns in Need, and the Minnesota Chapter of the MS Society.

The well-attended charity event took place at the Lafayette Country Club in Minnetonka. Ooh La La created an exclusive Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Gophers rhinestone Tee for women, which made its debut on the runway. A portion from the sales of theses Tees went straight to the two charities.

"Nothing makes me happier than to be able to find a way to give back. That I could use my passion for fashion to do so was a bonus". Says Ooh La La owner Connie Frederick.

Now through the end of June Ooh La La will continue to donate a portion of sales from the rhinestone Vikings and Gopher tees available in their boutique at 256 Water St in Excelsior, to Hennepin County Newborns in need.
