London, England (PressExposure) October 10, 2014 -- The jewellery event of the year, International Jewellery London, took place at the end of August 2014, and in true London style it radiated energy and created a vibrant atmosphere that perpetuated throughout the whole event. Cutting edge designers featured award-winning collections and the strong focus on fine and contemporary jewellery brought world-renowned designers to this iconic affair.
Excited to be there were the team from F&L Designer Guides who were on the look out for new design talent potential for their online publication. One of the founders of F&L Designer Guides told us " It was a incredible privilege to meet so many wonderful designers, including the inspirational French and Egyptian enthused designer, Mariam Maro, as well as Cara Tonkin and Ayshe Brandts. We had time chatting to Mustard and Peaches, the upcoming designers of 'dawn to dusk' jewellery that infuses romance and human ideals with narratives, and also with Malcolm Morris who creates many of his best pieces from clients' recycled jewellery." The co-founder added "These designers reflect the ethos of F&L Designers and we are pleased to say that many are interested in joining us on our engagement ring journey."
International Jewellery London is looking to 2015 already and, building on its success of this year it aims to continue to grow in stature. The idea is to provide the jewellery loving London public with a glimpse into the latest designs while introducing people to the inspirational characters behind the craftsmanship. It goes without saying that exposing iconic brands that are hitting the global headlines is a natural consequence of the efforts of the event's pioneers.
One of the most innovative exhibitions at the event was KickStart. This concept focused on new designers, the talent of the future and the cohesion of experience and new designer blood.
There is little doubt that this world-famous jewellery show, born 59 years ago, is about connection, bespoke and cutting edge, with brands, designers, suppliers and other manufacturers all there to develop their businesses, achieve success and contribute to the ever increasing industry. Bringing together budding designers from 63 countries right in the heart of London is no mean feat but year on the year the prestige of International Jewellery London has grown and everyone in the unique world of jewellery wants to be there.
A global presence, design focussed initiatives and industry-led seminars have propelled International Jewellery London into the jewellery design world limelight where it is set to remain for years to come.
