Fast and Reliable Low Voltage Servomotor Driver Evaluation

Toronto, Canada (PressExposure) June 09, 2009 -- GAO Embedded ( recommends its Texas Instruments’ TMS320F2812 DSP based low loltage evaluation board, GAO-MCK2812, which is intended for high performance DMC systems. It is commonly used in applications such as digital motor or machine control, packing mechanisms, UPS, VFC (variable frequency control) and electrical control.

GAO’s fast and reliable low voltage evaluation board is a combination of a DSP component EVM2812 Board, a low voltage driver component and an interface component IB2812. It directly connects with one or two DC servomotors, AC asynchronous motors, AC permanent-magnet synchronous servomotors and/or stepper motors to form a digital servo motion control system. The evaluation board includes standard RS232 and a CAN communication interfaces. It is also equipped with an on-board IEEE1149 JTAG interface for real-time emulation. A/D power supply and A/D reference voltage are offered to insure the accuracy of A/D sampling. The board is able to operate with SY-EVM281 via MCBUS.
