Lyndhurst, OH (PressExposure) April 21, 2008 -- Author, Adrienne Zurub, the 26 year Veteran Cleveland Clinic Nurse who was fired for penning her memoir will have a Book signing and Discussion of her book, 'Notes From the Mothership The Naked Invisibles,' April 24, 2008 at Joseph-Beth Booksellers at Legacy Village, 24519 Cedar Road, Lyndhurst, Ohio 44124, from 7-9PM.

As reported in the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Zurub was terminated two weeks after the publication of her memoir in January 2008. Zurub was a registered nurse on the open heart/heart transplant team for twenty-six years, with a stellar employee record.

The termination and the book have served to create a nationwide grassroots efforts of support among registered nurses, the public and other healthcare workers. The support Zurub receives relates to the truth she reveals about the treatment, abuse, and work conditions of nurses, patients and other healthcare personnel at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic, which she describes as a 'culture of impunity.'

The Cleveland Clinic states that hospital policy was violated, Zurub contends that no breach of patient privacy or HIPPA standards were violated. Zurub further maintains that the book is her memoir, her observation and her opinions.

A run on Zurub's book exhausted the available stock for the previously scheduled book signing in March 2008. This is the second printing. The book is available on and the website, and at certain Borders Bookstores.
