Tracy, CA (PressExposure) May 08, 2007 -- The Central Valley Business Alliance (CVBA) has created a new monthly business event. On the third Thursday of each month, 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m., business people will gather to discuss needs and find solutions. Each business will also hook up with prospective alliances to work together as a team toward new business and more efficient operations.
The first Business Blend will be held on Thursday May 17th, at 8:00 a.m. at Perko's Reataurant on West 11th at Lincoln (1321 W. 11th), in Tracy. It is an outgrowth of an analysis of what businesses truly want from a monthly group. The purpose of the event is to establish a place where businesses can solve challenges and create new alliances in a focused and meaningful way.
The structure of the Business Blend is such that participants get recognition through introductions and explanation of needs, and also are able to partner up with prospective team players for future success. They are then offered solutions or answers to needs, and are asked to find someone in the room who "sees their customer on a regular basis". When the interaction with this Quality Contact occurs, new alliances can actually be created. Joint marketing is one of the positive outgrowths of such an interaction.
To further enhance the Business Blends, CVBA is asking those wishing to attend to bring business cards, brochures to share, and an open mind. A sense of humor would not hurt as well, since these monthly events are geared around enjoying networking and meeting needs.
CVBA will be looking for locations for monthly events. By allowing different restaurants in the Central Valley to participate, the scope of prospective customers can be expanded. It is important that our events be where we can have a room to ourselves, have a buffet type meal available, and have enough room for around twenty businesses to sit and blend. Of course that number will get much larger as the word gets out.
