Gail Warrior Honored by Dallas Historical Society

Desoto, Texas (PressExposure) December 21, 2011 -- Gail Warrior, president and chief executive officer of Warrior Group, a DeSoto-based general contractor that serves public and private commercial construction customers, is the recipient of an Award for Excellence in the Business category, presented by the Dallas Historical Society. This annual awards program honors Dallas' brightest civic, cultural and community leaders.

The Dallas Historical Society is the oldest historical organization in Dallas County committed to preserving the area's entire history. The organization established the Awards for Excellence in Community Service in 1981 to recognize community leaders in a variety of fields who have made significant contributions to the quality of life in Dallas and the surrounding area. Outstanding individuals are selected for this honor from nominations solicited from the Dallas community.

As Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Warrior Group, one of the largest woman/minority owned general contractor in the country, Gail Warrior is responsible for the development of the company's strategic plan and corporate guiding principles. Warrior Group serves construction owners in the healthcare, higher education, K-12 and federal market segments. The Dallas Historical Society was organized on March 31, 1922, by 101 prominent citizens who wished to encourage historical inquiry.
