Gameshrub Studios presents Monster Takedown for iPhone

Glasgow, United Kingdom (PressExposure) March 30, 2012 -- The game is aimed to be very simple yet thrilling: survive as many days as you can by fending off the incoming helicopters and missiles from either side of the screen by tapping on them and swiping away the deadly nuclear bombs falling from above. With an increasingly difficult wave progression the game becomes more challenging the longer you survive. Battle through the day and night with five different monsters to choose from, all of which are accessible from the get go. Two special abilities are issued as you successfully survive each day which aid the user in reaching a higher score. These can be used whenever necessary or saved up for use when things get really challenging.

The special abilities are Bombs, which destroy every threat on screen, and Slow Mo's, which slow every threat down by 50% allowing the user to escape difficult situations by having enough time to tap on the incoming threats.

With an extremely fitting soundtrack composed by Dave Dexter from DaveDexterMusic the game creates an immersive experience which sounds even better with a good set of headphones. the game also features integrated leaderboards which allow for facebook and twitter posting. Game centre is also integrated into the game to allow the user to compete against their friends.

The game will be priced at £0.69 ($0.99) and available worldwide from April 5th exclusively through the App Store for iPhone only. There is currently no version available for android but this may be added in the future.
