Gene Dante and the Future Starlets Release The Romantic Lead

Signal Hill, CA (PressExposure) May 28, 2009 -- Gene Dante and the Future Starlets are promoting the release of their new album The Romantic Lead (Omnirox Entertainment). The singles on the recording are "A Madness to his Method" and "C Star".

Greg Prato of writes, "With Romantic Lead, Gene Dante may have come up with a new style: streamlined theatrical rock."

Purposely having themes that evoke a mess of crushes, tailored shirts, yearnings, cheap beer, pride, faded eye make-up, anger, vintage designer ties, martinis, and a trail of tattered hearts, Gene Dante's influences are worn on his sleeve.

He is a fighter, who will break a sweat for whatever and whomever he loves, including a life-long injury-laden romance with theatre. Dante is a natural showman on stage, creating a post-glam rat pack, which mix up a stiff cocktail of trash-meets-class.

After a self imposed exile into New York, Dante's new record The Romantic Lead answers the question, "Can trash and tuxedos mix?"

Highlights of Gene Dante's career are: 1. Reached the Finals in WBCN's 31st annual Rock 'n' Roll rumble 2. Videos are available for "C Star" and "A Madness to his Method" 3. Upcoming East Coast tour in June/July, including Provincetown Rocks! Festival
