Hobart, Washington (PressExposure) September 18, 2009 -- Snowboarding Zone has just released a new section of their website that has all of the basics on Snowboards. This is part of a new community website that is all about Snowboards. Members and non-members can visit this Snowboards page on the Snowboarding Zone website for free at: http://snowboardingzone.org/.
Here is an excerpt from the new Snowboards information webpage:
"Burton is one of the most popular brands of snowboards that are now available and the price shows it. These snowboards usually come with all of the premium trimmings and really cool graphics. You are sure to grab attention with a Burton snowboard. Burton also offers apparel and snowboarding accessories such as bags to transport and store your board in. Expect to pay upwards of several hundred dollars for a Burton snowboard; however, there are places where you can purchase discount Burton boards or even used Burton snowboards and this can save you quite a bit of money.
K2 is another brand that is popular with snowboarders. Again, they offer a variety of other accessories besides just a snowboard. The K2 snowboards are less expensive than the Burton snowboards, but you can still expect to pay a couple of hundred dollars plus tax. They come with cool graphics. You can find some great deals on K2 boards but they do have some minor defects; however, if they do, you are definitely notified before purchase.
Determining what type of snowboard will work best for you, can be a little confusing if you donât ask for help. Talk to someone who knows what they are talking about and they should be able to suggest what will work best for you."
