London, United Kingdom (PressExposure) September 02, 2008 -- Geo, a leading provider of dedicated fiber networks, today announced that BIS Ltd, a data center and managed services specialist, has signed a 3-year contract with Geo to provide it with a diverse fiber route between three London data centers. This new connection will provide faster connectivity to BIS and its customers across their network.
Geo implemented a diverse triangulated fiber route connecting Telehouse North, Global Switch and BISâ new data center in Greenwich; thereby connecting the latter into BISâs own core 10 Gig MPLS backbone. The connection will ensure that BIS customers have access to all BIS data centers and will provide customers with individual data center to data center connectivity and replication services.
Raj Bosamia, Commercial Director & Head of Products, BIS commented, âWe chose to work with Geo because of its strategic alliances with key data centers. Because Geo already had a presence within our chosen facility, the implementation of our network was fast and seamless.â
Chris Smedley, Chief Executive, Geo added, âWe are delighted to have helped BIS in future proofing their network and providing them with the quality fiber they required within the given short time frame.â
