How to Add Watermark to FLV Files

Of course, FLV files are the best choices as the recompression is not need any more. You can watch your own videos with the original high quality. Then how to add watermark to FLV files? Here is an easy tutorial to tell you step by step.

What is watermark?

A watermark referred to here is a recognizable image, text, or sound, which identifies the file's information like copyright, author, etc. Usually the purpose of watermarks is to provide copyright protection for various kinds of “products”, especially in software industry.

Install and download Moyea FLV Editor Pro ( ). Then launch the program.

Input FLV files into the sequence list. Double click the sequence blank and the “Open” window will pop up. Select multiple FLV files to import into the program.

Add watermark. Click the “Watermark” tab and hit “Plus” button. You have two choices: add image or add text.

Add image watermark. Choose the option “Add image” to import wanted picture into the video screen.

Here you can drag and drop the green line to adjust the size and the position of image. Then the logo will be added successfully.

Add text watermark. Click the “Plus” button and choose “Add text”. You can type in the wanted words into the “Caption” box, maybe the company name or something you like.

Drag and drop the green line to set the position of the text watermark. Click “T” icon to configure the font like Font, Style, Size, Effect and so on. You can see the sample.

Preview You can easily real-time view the final effect in “Preview” tab.

Output wanted video formats. To upload to YouTube, FLV is the best choice so you can choose to export to FLV without recoding or FLV1 with H.263. Of course, you also can output to AVI, MPEG, MP4, MP3, WMV, MOV, 3GP and so on for different usages.

Click “OK” to start encoding.

After conversion, the output folder will auto pop up as long as you choose the option: Open output folder in “Convert” window. See the picture above.

Ok, now the video with the watermark is made successfully. You can upload them to YouTube and enjoy.
