As the House of Commons awards the young mind behind its achievements, the Young Businessman of the Year, the nation brims with pride. While others his age are either studying at university or living it up, Shashank, who is yet to celebrate his 24th birthday, is busy foraying into new fields of endeavour. In barely a couple of years, he has established and grown the group's Real Estate division by a massive 500% and their Media division by 300%. Speaking on the occasion, Shashank attributed much of his success to the guidance he receives from his father, the eminent Balasaheb Bhapkar, co-founder of the diversified SPCL conglomerate.
The annually convened Asian Achievers Awards, held under the aegis of the Indo-British Business Forum (IBBF), felicitates businesses and entrepreneurs that succeed in making a tangible difference in their sectors, locally and globally.
