In Your Face Ink Book Finalist in 2009 Indie Book Awards

Glendale, AZ (PressExposure) May 18, 2009 -- In Your Face Ink is proud to announce Raise Rules for Women: How to Make More Money at Work, by Laura C. Browne and Jill L. Ferguson, became a finalist in the 2009 Indie Book Awards in the women’s issue category.

Raise Rules for Women: How to Make More Money at Work provides seven easy to follow guidelines of how to ask for raise and what pitfalls to avoid. Raise Rules offers concrete case studies and stories from former students, colleagues and friends to make the raise rules come to life.

Laura C. Browne, an HR specialist, is a corporate trainer and speaker specializing in communication and management issues. She trains high potential women from Fortune 1000 companies how to be more successful through WOMEN Unlimited. Her book Why Can’t You Communicate Like Me? How Smart Women Get Results at Work was published by In Your Face Ink in 2005.

Jill L. Ferguson is an award-winning writer, editor, public speaker and professor. She chairs the General Education Department at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and she is a lecturer at Notre Dame de Namur University’s School of Business. In Your Face Ink published her novel, Sometimes Art Can’t Save You, in 2005.
