Interactive Murder Mystery Returns to Apple Holler with The Honeymooners on the Disoriented Express

Sturtevant, WI (PressExposure) February 07, 2011 -- Apple Holler's Red Barn Theatre always means great food and great fun, and The Honeymooners on the Disoriented Express is no exception. Guests will enjoy a delicious themed meal as their interactive murder mystery experience begins with some of the show's colorful characters mingling with the audience. For those budding actors or actresses out there, a few audience members will have the chance to be cast in one of the cameo roles for the comedic performance.

"Murder Mysteries were a big hit at Apple Holler when the Red Barn Theatre first began presenting them almost twenty years ago," says Apple Holler Entertainment Director, Heather Clayton. "After bringing it back during the 2010 season, we were clearly shown what a favorite they are for Red Barn Theatre guests. When planning the 2011 season, I wanted to present humor and nostalgia, along with the intriguing fun of a murder mystery. The idea of The Honeymooners on the Disoriented Express stood out to me as a sure-to-be-favorite for audiences of all ages hence, a show was born!"

As guests enter the Red Barn Theatre, they will become passengers aboard The Disoriented Express along with Ralph and the gang. All is well on this Smoky Mountain vacation, until the train gets trapped in a blizzard and the notorious loan shark, Rhett Orick is found dead in his cabin. Clues will be dropped and suspicions will arise as the list of potential suspects grows and the plot thickens. It is up to the audience to figure out who the real killer is as they ponder the evidence over a mouth-watering dessert. With multiple conclusions to the story, as well as the ever-changing audience cast members, no two shows will be exactly the same. The Honeymooners on the Disoriented Express will have audiences on the edge of their seats, rolling in the aisles and is certain to take them, "To the moon!"
