Intilop's New 10G Ultra-Low Latency TOE/UOE Shatters The Sub-100 Nanosecond Latency Threshhold

Santa Clara, CA (PressExposure) January 13, 2012 -- Intilop, Inc. a pioneer and a recognized leader in providing complex Ultra-Low latency networking IP building blocks and systems, today announced their new 4th Gen SX-Series TCP Offload Engine (TOE) and UDP Offload Engine (UOE) IPs based around enhanced TOE Architecture. These Industry leading Ultra-Low latency 10G TOE and UOE IP products have fully integrated EMAC with optional PCIe/DMA block, that can also be combined as a system to provide Ultra-High performance NIC functionality.

The SX-Series include IPs and solutions in: 10G TCP, 10G UDP, 1G TCP and 1G UDP.

This is the first time the latency barrier of 100 nanoseconds has been shattered, while offering Ultra-Low Latency and Highest Performance with highest TCP and UDP bandwidths none!

The latency of less than 100 nanoseconds for our 4th. Gen 10G TOE and UOE sets the bar much higher for speed and performance based upon our mature, proven and TCP Protocol Compliant architecture.

The SX-Series 100 ns latency is for the MAC+TOE subsystem i.e. Layer-2 thru Layer-4, not just the TCP layer. This was accomplished by custom 'Handcrafted' hardware that implements patent pending innovative TOE architecture.

The SX-Series' highly deterministic performance, reliable and proven ultra-low latency, coupled with customizability can be utilized to gain wire-speed throughput by all Network Equipment makers.

Network Architects now have a larger variety of cutting edge TCP offload products to choose from, allowing them to move up from the sluggish microsecond league into the super-fast nanosecond league. Therefore, by utilizing the full benefits of pivotal 10G SX TOE and UOE technologies they can confidently exceed their challenging network system performance objectives.

Moreover, the SX-Series offers unprecedented TCP throughput of more than 95% for large and small payload sizes on a 10G network, which is 8-15x higher as compared to the prevalent TCP/IP software.

The TOE's architecture is highly scalable, customizable and adaptable without compromising on low latency or performance. Intilop's product-line solutions are available in flexible FPGA/ASIC/SoC technologies which can easily accommodate diverse set of appliance maker's technical design specifications.

"We are extremely proud of our new SX-Series product-line offering that not only shatters the sub-100 nanosecond threshold but also offers a technically robust and diversified set of cutting-edge IPs and system solutions that can tremendously benefit all networking customers" said K Masood, President and CTO.

In conclusion, the new Ultra-Low latency TOE SX-Series of IPs is a 'drop-in' replacement for the previous Gen Very-Low latency TOE X-Series IPs. Finally, the new SX-Series offers incredibly low latency of sub-100 ns compared to the very respectful latency of sub-200 ns of the X-Series.
