Its Sea Surf And Sun On A Tropical Island For A New York Woman

Port Vila, Vanuatu (PressExposure) June 05, 2009 -- Captivated by the thought of winning an exotic 7 day holiday for two in the South Pacific, Nancy Martel, of New York, made a small investment. It was a long shot, never dreaming for one minute it might be hers. However, she loved the idea of investing her money into the project to put some really needy kids through high school.

Nancy is the winner of the first Monthly Draw from Win a Resort. She now has the choice of a fabulous tropical island holiday for two, (better than anything she saw on the reality TV show 'Survivor'), or she could opt for $1000 Cash. What a fantastic choice!

Vanuatu is hidden away in the North Western corner of the South Pacific, only two and a half hours off the eastern coast of Australia. It has been host to several 'Survivor' program and in 2006 was voted the Happiest Country On Earth.

Vanuatu is a y-shaped archipelago, made up of 83 coral-based islands, that have a matchless mix of ancient tribes, with around 153 distinct languages. A jaw-dropping country that has giant banyan trees, one of the earth's largest living organisms, as well as giant prehistoric tree ferns. Besides all that, Vanuatu is the home to one of the world’s largest free standing musical instruments.

From pristine wilderness and underwater wonderland, the geography varies, to live volcanoes. The original home of the extreme sport of bungee jumping, as well as owning the very distinct water music. It is a nation that has been barely touched by the 21st century and full of amazing surprises. The relaxed way of life, general beauty and genuinely friendly people make Vanuatu one of the most exotic travel destinations in the world. It is indeed the unpolished jewel of the South Pacific - the Dream Travel Destination Of The World.

With both the French and English rule, when it was a condominium, Vanuatu has been left with a rich duel heritage, both in language and cuisine. Vanuatu was also influenced by the presence of thousands of American soldiers stationed there during World War 11.

Having purchased a Diamond Discount Voucher, Nancy also gets a trip to the southern island of Tanna, where she will stand on the very lip of a live volcano. What an awesome experience!

The next Monthly Draw is already under way. You have nothing to lose by taking a few minutes to check it out at Win a Resort. The next Discount Voucher could be the winning one with your name on it.
