Joan Rivers Takes On Las Vegas

Las Vegas, Nevada (PressExposure) July 22, 2009 -- August 27 – 29 and September 3 – 5 at The Venetian Showroom

Hot off her Season Two win on NBC’s hit show The Celebrity Apprentice, comedic icon Joan Rivers will perform in “Sin City” for a limited engagement at The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino late this summer. Rivers will bring her unique sense of humor and tenacity to her stand-up show in the 742-seat Venetian Showroom August 27 - 29 and September 3 - 5.

"I am thrilled to be back in Vegas at The Venetian,” said Rivers. ”This city is the only place where you can see Cher, Bette Midler, Celine Dion and me all in one night.... and it’s all the same guy.”

Rivers is a self described “force of nature” and one of the hardest working celebrities in show-business. In addition to being an award-winning comedian, Rivers is a best-selling author, Tony-nominated actress, Emmy-winning talk-show host, jewelry designer, syndicated radio host and more.

Rivers will star in two upcoming television projects, a new series “How’d You Get So Rich” premiering August 5 on TV Land and “The COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of Joan Rivers” premiering August 9. For more information about Joan Rivers, visit

Rivers went on to say, “I can’t wait to start. Vegas audiences are the best in the world!... and performing at The Venetian is even better than going to Venice as it’s just as beautiful plus its canals are clean.”
