John Mehrmann Appointed to CCi Program Advisory Committee for Everest College

Los Angeles, California (PressExposure) January 26, 2009 -- Everest College appoints John Mehrmann to the Program Advisory Committee for Network and Internet Security Specialists.

Everest College will be offering a new program entitled 'Network and Internet Security Specialist'. A twelve-month program will train students for a career as a Network Security Specialist, Network Security Administrator, Network Administrator, Network Technician, Help Desk Technician, PC Support Specialist, or Technician. Everest College has appointed a select group of renowned industry professionals to provide guidance for the curriculum.

The primary purpose of the Program Advisory Committee (PAC) is to ensure that the training and equipment for the programs offered are current and relevant to the occupational practices and requirements. Industry professionals ensure that employers assist with the structuring and continuous improvement of the program. The committee reviews established curricula of the program, program objectives, program content and length, adequacies of facilities and equipment, student completion and placement rates.
