Keys to Creating A Successful Relationship: Therapist Shares Easy Steps to Creating a Lasting Relationship

Woodland Hills, CA (PressExposure) July 20, 2005 -- Millions of singles across the world are looking to create relationship bliss. It takes time. It requires energy. It mandates desire. A lot of people have all that. What they don't have is a valid and reliable Roadmap to Relationship Success. Whether they're accessing Yahoo Maps or their personal database--if the information used to create a Roadmap is faulty, they'll end up lost, says Rod Louden, M.A, MFT in his new book, Monster Relationships: Taming the Beasts that are Killing Your Relationships (now available through New Guru Publishing).

His Book is a journey--not the type of fun and fabulous travel during which you get on an airplane and fly away to some exotic land. Rather, it's a quest to acquire new knowledge about yourself, knowledge that can be used to defeat the problems that are killing your relationships. "Most people never take the time to look at what is not working, as they go about the process of finding their soul mate," writes Louden. "You are the common denominator in all of your relationships. By exploring your own belief system, you can identify the problems that are keeping you from creating a happy and fulfilling relationship."

"We all have our personal demons to face," Rod points out. "I'm a guide. I lead people to the deep and unexplored areas of their psyches. Once there, we are able to identify and wage war against the monsters that have kept them in the shackles of relationship despair. This worked for me. It can work for anyone." In an easy, conversational style, Louden takes readers on an amazing journey, showing them how to create emotional balance and increase their level of emotional skill--two essential keys to creating relationship success.

Whether they are teenagers or great-grandparents, readers looking to create a new roadmap to take them to a loving, lasting relationship will benefit from Louden's real-world wisdom in Monster Relationships.

"Monster Relationships: Taming the Beasts that are Killing Your Relationships is inspiring and provocative. It makes you think! You are encouraged to visit places in your psyche that will test your commitment to yourself, and to your growth as a person. It doesn't promise you a magic wand: instead, it shows you ways to achieve positive life changes that will help you create loving and lasting relationships." --Birgitta Gregory, Ph.D., Life Coach and Teacher Author, Get Your Relationships Right: Inside and Out

"Once I started reading Monster Relationships, I couldn't put it down. It led me to the answers that I had been searching for about myself--answers that two years of therapy had failed to produce. It was an incredible weekend of therapy that touched my heart and soul." --Deborah Green, Executive Assistant

"Monster Relationships is a unique and imaginative book for anyone who has ever wondered why they have experienced so many failed relationships. It is also a rare opportunity to understand relationship counseling from the perspective of how Rod Louden would work in a therapeutic setting as your relationship Tour Guide. So, what are you waiting for?--it doesn't get any easier than this." --Richard Greene, Psy.D., Marriage and Family Therapist Director, Abuse Prevention Associates

"Monster Relationships blew me away! I've read Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, and other self-enlightenment books in an attempt to improve my life journey. While I enjoyed these writers, Rod Louden took it to an entirely new level. He took me on an amazing journey across what he calls the 'Emotional Desert'. Along the way, Mr. Louden gave me easy to understand metaphors, and helped me to focus on how to make positive changes in my life. I realized that the journey which he asked me to take with him was one that I was already on, but did not know how to put into words." --Stephen Gomez, Youth Guidance Counselor
