About the Artists:
Elaine Bronner - Elaine has been capturing life's moments through photography since she was a teenager, her earliest inspiration being landscape photographer Eliot Porter. She has gained her experience studying with a group of instructors from National Geographic as well as in Italy with photographer Edward Riddell. Today her inspirations take many forms, including beauty, great light, and the wonders and glory of the outside world.
Peggy Dressel - Peggy, a graduate of Pratt, loves to paint in both watercolor and pastel. She has exhibited in galleries, museums, public spaces, and juried exhibitions as well as received numerous awards for her work. She has also illustrated four picture books and has been published by companies such as Marshall Cavendish and Prentice Hall. She is a member of the AAPL, The Degas Pastel Society, Southeastern Pastel Society, and the Blackwell Street Artist.
Charles Magistro - Charles, whose original paintings are abstract and surreal, has developed an interest in landscape painting within the last several years. He enjoys using his imagination to create surprising images that speak to him. As a painter, Charles loves to capture the beauty of nature on canvas but also believes that there is nothing as beautiful as nature in its entirety.
Joe Terrone - Joe, a professional New Jersey based Artist, holds a BFA from Brooklyn College and an MFA from Pratt Institute. He has been showing his work throughout the tri-state area as well as being collected throughout the country. With his strong desire to revisit realism, Joe, who had worked abstractly in mixed media began to paint outdoors. Originating from his abstract art background coupled with his response to plein air painting, his paintings act as vehicles to express his love of nature through color and movement.
