, (PressExposure) July 17, 2006 -- Working mothers are challenged with juggling many different roles that they take on in their lives. Without life balance, there are feelings of being overwhelmed, lack of time, increase stress, and general dissatisfactions in their lives. As the imbalance increases, working mothers get very close to "burn out" as frustration levels climb.
Life By Design has partnered with the Stateline YMCA to bring working mothers the four part workshop, "Life Balancing for Working Mothers". This workshop was developed especially for working mothers with the purpose of giving working mothers the tools to balance the three major areas of her life: Work, Family, and Self. Participants will learn the tools necessary to improve balance in life. By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to define what is most important to them and what they want for their life. They will also be able to identify and evaluate imbalanced areas of life, set goals and develop an action plan to help accomplish goals. Techniques for better time and stress management will be included as key tools to life balancing.
This four part workshop will start on Wednesday July 26th and meets every Wednesday through August 16th from 6pm-7:30pm. With the increasing demands on working mothers, it is becoming more necessary for women to learn how to find and maintain balance, instead of juggling. It is time for working mothers to get the support, knowledge and tools they need to lead a balanced life.
