Local Economy Leaving Las Vegas Printing Companies Pressed

Henderson, Nevada (PressExposure) November 04, 2008 -- The Las Vegas printing industry has grown continuously over the years into a multi-million dollar enterprise. The constant demand for print media by huge casinos and small businesses alike have resulted in more and more printing companies popping up over the Las Vegas valley.

More competition usually equals cheaper pricing but not in this instance. In fact, printing companies have stayed firm in their pricing and even increased their pricing over the last two years since many clients have advertising budgets in the seven-figure range. This is good for the printers but not so good for smaller businesses who’s advertising budgets are miniscule in comparison to those of the multi-billion dollar casino industry.

One local company who has been eyeing the printing industry has announced today that they will provide highly discounted printing pricing to the Las Vegas businesses. These discounts are said to be up to 50% and higher compared to other printing companies’ pricing in Las Vegas. Eventually this decision will force many printers in Las Vegas to do the same, like it or not.

“After watching many businesses recently struggle to survive, and in many cases go out of business, our decision was easy. We must support our local businesses during these tough economical times,” says Kerry Hancock, Jr., president of House of Hancock.

“As a business that services other businesses, it is important to help keep these businesses alive,” he continued. “If these Las Vegas businesses continue to close doors, then eventually the demand for our services will consequently be on the decline as well.”

Looking for an example of the printing discount for local businesses? How about 5000 full color business cards for just $89.00, compared to an average retail price of $200.

In the past month, House of Hancock has had several meetings with large printing companies in Las Vegas to discuss the issue of pricing. The outcomes of the meetings have been very promising thus far, with House of Hancock providing a simple solution for all Las Vegas printing companies: Lower prices and focus on volume.
