London's First Ever Movie Location Bus Tour

London, United Kingdom (PressExposure) December 22, 2009 -- Brit Movie Tours, a unique sightseeing bus tour company that visits film and TV locations in London and throughout Britain, bringing them to life, will launch the first of its new tours in February 2010.

The London Movie Tour will take visitors on a luxury mini coach to more than 60 central London film locations from over 40 movies. You’ll see where Charlie Croker (Michael Caine) is given a warm welcome after coming out of prison in The Italian Job to the street where the fight between Daniel Cleaver and Darcy took place in Bridget Jones’s Diary. You’ll also see locations used in The Da Vinci Code through to scenes from The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus and Guy Ritchie’s latest flick, Sherlock Holmes.

Guests will learn how the movies were made, watch the DVD clips as they pass the actual London film locations, hear fascinating information about the local areas and get trivia about their favourite London films and their locations. They will also have the chance to get off the bus, take pictures and see famous London film locations up close.

The 3 hour morning tour takes visitors through the City of London, Southwark, Clerkenwell, Victoria and Bayswater visiting film locations as well as familiar landmarks along the way.

Brit Movie Tours director, Lewis Swan explains, “one of the aims of the London Movie Tour is to enjoy the magic of some of these famous London movie sets and get closer to some of the characters you know so well on screen”.
