Mexico Real Estate in Cancun - Holbox Urban Image to be Renewed

Playa Del Carmen, Mexico (PressExposure) July 29, 2011 -- Recently, Mexico real estate on the island of Holbox, near Cancun, is soon to receive a boost with a renewal of the urban image. Recently, the mayor announced several works, including the restoration of a tourist pier and establishment of related services. In addition to boost of tourism and economy, the renewal will improve lifestyle for real estate buyers both directly and indirectly.

On July 16, 2011, the Governor of the state which includes Holbox and Cancun (Quintana Roo), Roberto Borge Angulo led a presentation of the large-scale projects for improved urban image of Holbox (second stage,) which includes several renovations that will bring important benefits to the population, such as economic boosts. The infrastructure improvements are expected to increase the tourist, all with absolute respect for environmental regulations and the mystical atmosphere of the region.

This project will bring an investment of 18 million pesos (about 1.5 million USD), including funds from the Federal Government. The works are divided into four areas: construction of a tourist center, rehabilitation of the waterfront and its services, rehabilitation of the pier, and rehabilitation of roads in the beachfront area.

Each of these areas will present benefits for Cancun real estate buyers on the island. The rehabilitation of the waterfront, its roadways and the pier area will contribute to the lifestyle of real estate buyers. In this sense, it may also increase value of the real estate on the island.

The tourist center and the intended boost in tourism is also a benefit for real estate. Increased tourism brings further investment into services and infrastructure, improving the quality of life. Increased tourist numbers also point to greater exposure to a resale market, bringing yet another possibility for increase in real estate value.

In the new projects, the walkway of the tourist center will have a design inspired by the figure of the whale shark, an area of two thousand square meters will have the following services: a covered area of 700 square meters, a taxi waiting area, restrooms, shops, soda fountain and area diners, tourist information area, and interconnection services Wi-Fi.

On the boardwalk, tourism services will be installed, as well as the improvement pedestrian areas, placement of benches, trash bins, improved lighting and landscaping.; Mexico's Leading Network of Specialists for Finding and Purchasing Mexican Properties Safely
