Stacy, Minnesota (PressExposure) November 04, 2011 -- Minnesota Mystery Author, Stacy Verdick Case, is commemorating Veterans Day by donating copies of her book, A Grand Murder, to Untied States Service Personnel. Stacy is sending paperback copies of her book to Operation Gratitude for inclusion in their care packages and has enlisted other authors to do the same.
"Operation Gratitude is such a fantastic organization," Stacy said. "They've sent over 700,000 care packages to our soldiers overseas. When I saw on their website that they wanted books for their care packages and their Wounded Warrior program, I knew I had to help. I logged on to social networking sites and put the word out to all my writer friends. Response from the writer's organizations I belong to has been remarkable."
In addition to the paperback copies of A Grand Murder, Ms. Verdick Case has joined forces with fifty other authors to participate in an online promotion called Blog Tour de Troops, which will give one free eBook copy of A Grand Murder to a soldier, for each comment posted on her blog on November 13th. As an added bonus, the commenter's will also receive a free eBook copy of A Grand Murder too.
"I'm a little worried that I'll have trouble keeping up with the potential volume of posts on the 13th," Stacy said. "But it's a good problem to have and a really great cause. I hope hundreds of people log on to post comments on my blog. That way all the soldiers who want a copy of A Grand Murder can have one."
