Newark, NJ (PressExposure) March 20, 2009 -- Newark, NJ - Members of the award-winning NJ Apartment MLS (GardenStateApartments.com) gathered at the newly renovated 60 Park Grill in Downtown Newark, NJ on February 25 for Garden State Apartment's first networking event of 2009. The doors opened at 6:00pm and welcomed over 100 landlords, property managers, real estate agents, and vendors to mix, mingle and celebrate over 2.5 million property searches since their inception.
The venue was filled with experts in the multi-family industry who had an opportunity to rub elbows with small property owners, brokers, and executives from Affiliated Management, Stuyvesant Yale, Crest Management, and other large apartment communities across the state.

The networking event also marked the launch of a new website developed for one of the systemâs major clients: http://www.rentnjapts.com. The 300+ page website was custom built to showcase major properties in New Jersey and help develop an online system to manage existing tenants. An executive from the client company explained, âWe are finding that most savvy tenants go Online to start their search for a new home and it only made sense for us to work with a local leader in this space.â He continued, âthey (Garden State Apartments) created a fantastic website that really showcases what we have to offer.â
The event was hosted by the system founder and industry consultant, Sunny Kancherla. Mr. Kancherla explained, âAfter the great feedback received from our Holiday event, it only felt natural to bring everyone together again.â He continued, âWe saw a lot of new faces at this event and it reinforced the sentiment that this system is a real community.â
