Applicants for temporary visas are also reminded to complete Form DS-160 for those traveling to the US for business or pleasure.
Applicants must also make sure that their passport is valid for travel to the United States and has a validity date of at least six months beyond the applicant's intended period of stay in the United States; and they are also required to have one (1) photograph or digital photograph with a minimum dimension of 600 pixels by 600 pixels and a maximum dimension of 1200 pixels by 1200 pixels. Make sure that the image is in 24 bits per pixel color in JPEG format and has a file size of less than or equal to 240 kilobytes.
