New B-to-B Ad Agency Opens, Focuses on Social Media and Emerging Tactics

St. Paul, MN (PressExposure) June 17, 2009 -- B2B Inc., a new business-to-business ad agency specializing in emerging tactics such as SEO, SEM, social media, customer retention, lead nurturing, e-mail marketing and online video has opened in St. Paul, Minnesota.

To demonstrate its attention to social media, the agency has launched a YouTube video, “The Evolution of Business Communications”, a historical view of communications from blackboard and typewriters to Twitter. B2B Inc. is offering an un-branded version of the video for any marketer or educator to use as a meeting-starter, and these users can request their logo to appear at the beginning and / or end of the video.

The agency is headed by Joe Hendershot, CBC, a marketing veteran with 30 years of b-to-b experience including senior sales and marketing positions at large and medium-sized manufacturers in Minnesota and Toronto, Canada. Joe owned a b-to-b marketing consultancy for several years before making the move to a full-service agency.

B2B Inc. offers traditional b-to-b services ranging from creative to media planning in addition to new media. It also has in-house online video production capabilities.

The agency’s focus on social media is especially relevant, says Hendershot. “Social media certainly has the attention of business to business marketers,” says Hendershot, “but CEOs and marketing officers are struggling to make sense of its application and its ROI. Yet, conversations about brands are taking place every minute on social networking sites, and marketers need to monitor, mine, and participate. Social media is not going away and there are ways to utilize its relationship-building capabilities to create social contacts and ultimately sales.
