New DVD Release From Filmmaker Shawn Baker "Comrades" Available Now

Shot on location in Brooklyn, NY with producer Kevin Spice Greene, Comrades stars Onyx's Fredro Starr (Torque, Save the Last Dance), newcomer Daniel Philip, Chyna Layne (Push, HBO's Life Support), Mike Lubik and features rap artist Tru life.

A street smart college freshman becomes trapped in a world of crime after falling back in with a troubled childhood friend who's second in command of a violent street gang. Eddie (Daniel Phillip) is an honor role student who dreams of becoming a lawyer. But Eddie has a pain in his heart, and that pain draws him to Psycho (Fredro Starr), a high-ranking member of the Decepticons. Subsequently ensnared in a dangerous web of lies, murder, and betrayal, Eddie discovers that his only hope of escaping the past may be to accept the love of his concerned childhood sweetheart.
