New Social Content Exchange 'Barcelona version' Released by Knexus

Social Content Exchange is an online social place for sharing video, images & other content, to generate profitable conversations. The latest version of Social Content Exchange includes a variety of improvements that give companies smarter ways to communicate, educate & engage with their colleagues, partners & customers. The introduction of enhanced Social Search makes it easier and faster than ever for users to find the content and interactions of highest relevance. This includes the ability to search on 'most viewed content', 'highest rated content' & 'most recent content'. The new 'highlighted' content (featured content) function empowers admin users to feature particular content they want users to pay attention to on the homepage.

A new 'MyAccount' feature provides one secure place for users to easily manage their content, including videos uploaded, as well as track collaborations and personalise settings.

For companies using Social Content Exchange to support both internal & external users, there's a new secure feature for sharing content with external parties. Users can now generate a secure link to share a piece of content with partners, suppliers or other third parties that don't have direct access to Exchange. Access is limited to that specific content only, and the user has the option to set a time limit on the access, for example 7 days. Admin users can go a step further to create a secure, shared space with unlimited content for third parties that do not have direct access to Exchange. Again, the period of access can be defined. No login details are required for accessing content on this basis.

User Experience improvements include a new Read & Watch button, which marks content automatically read once a user has watched/viewed a piece of content. The user then has the option to mark the item unread. This feature is designed to save time and avoid the need to review a list of content that has already been viewed.
