New UT Austin Pre-College Summer Programs for Teens - iD Programming Academy

Campbell, California (PressExposure) April 20, 2012 -- iD Programming Academy, a pre-college camp for teens, will have new programs at the University of Texas at Austin starting in June. The UT Austin summer programs are two-week, intensive, pre-college programs for teens that will teach skills in fundamental coding, iPhone® and Android® app development, Java, and robotics engineering.

The courses, which focus on small classes and a hands-on coding experience, will be kept at UT Austin to offer students a chance to explore the campus. Various iD Programming Academy places include Stanford, Princeton, UCLA, MIT, and even Yale.

The teen-only summer camp has aggressively included places this season due to increased enrollment demand. With an array of big-name universities to select from, teens can test-drive learning on campus while building up unique skills which will set them apart on college applications.

The new Texas summer camps, with the other iD Programming Academy programs, are overnight, giving students a fun preview of dormitory life. The programs also provide a weekend stay option, giving teens with the opportunity to explore nearby attractions and furthermore relax on campus.
