Healthy Fundraising Solutions will carry no snack product in any of its four marquee snack paks which contains Trans-Fat. âThis was a decision whose time had come. We just had to roll up our sleeves and scour the country for tasty, healthy snacks which met our standards,â says company Co-Founder Brad Dodge. âThere were a couple of products which had to dropped, but the replacements are fantastic (actually fantastix, see below) and the net result is a healthier product for our customers, which will hopefully help in creating a healthier country.â
Additionally, a new snack pak has been added. In addition to the Cal Pak, Kingâs Variety Pak, and Elite Pak, the Hot & Spicy Pak is being unveiled. These changes come at a time of need in the diets and wellness of Americaâs Students. According to the Governmentâs CDC website â17 percent of children and adolescents ages 2-19 are already overweight. These problems only grow bigger as we age.
The CDC reports that the âpercent of noninstitutionalized adults age 20 years and over who are overweight or obese: 66%â The rapid rise in the rate of Type 2 Diabetes is related to this rise in obesity and overweight.
