Evesham, United Kingdom (PressExposure) February 10, 2012 -- Toolbox is mostly known for their insanely large range of power tools and hand tools which continues to increase week by week. Currently standing at just over 50,000 products on the website, Toolbox has one of the most diverse ranges of tools, equipment and accessories online.
Toolbox.co.uk stocks anything from workwear to air tools and adhesives; nobody can ever predict what type of product they will add to the website next.
Latest news from Toolbox shows that a type of tool becoming very popular and continuing to sell well spurred them to increase the range and variety on offer to the customers. Electric jigsaws are the product of choice and the range has considerably expanded; with over 30 types of drill to pick from, customers are spoilt by the selection of 110v and 240v drills.
Scott Morris, Marketing Manager at Toolbox gave a few words on the new stock range: "We're always looking at ranges of products to update and increase and this was the ideal one. At current, sales on this type of product seem to be continuous and we thought we'd try and give the customer an even larger selection to try and meet their needs down to a t." He continues to say; "A lot of online retailers have a small range of products to minimise their costs, but this doesn't allow the customer to find what they truly want and sometimes forces them into a purchase which isn't the perfect option for them.
We want to make sure customers have the ability to choose the product they want; this applies for all ranges on our website."
It's a refreshing take on online marketing for the Toolbox guys and girls and not many businesses, let alone online ones will go to this much trouble for their customers. Hopefully they keep it up and continue to expand on their product ranges and offer an even more diverse selection of tools.
James Cook, a web admin at Toolbox dropped us a comment about the website as well; "Currently, we're doing a minor overhaul of the website, where we're running through every group and optimizing it for the customers benefit. Electric jigsaws are just one of the groups to receive this at present; however, this optimization will be rolled out over the entire website over the coming month.
The best thing about this is that users will be able to accurately compare products and see which is better in the area they're most interested in, no more switching between products, just a straight forward comparison!"
Toolbox is the sister company of the ever expanding Plumbworld empire. Plumbworld was an early pioneer of online trading, started by James and Anita Hickman in 1999 and was sold to the Grafton Group PLC in December 2006, Plumbworld now employs more than 50 people in its purpose built warehouse and offices and boasts an astonishing 50+ websites selling everything from a bathroom and pillar drills to triton showers and barbecues.
