King says, âI am very excited about The Langley Schoolsâ Creative Pursuits conference. This school is a prime example of empowered teachers who involve their students daily in 21st century learning. I count it a great privilege to keynote this conference and work along side these forward thinking colleagues. I anticipate many educators will learn from their efforts and continue to move the k-12 educational field of 21st century learning practice ahead.â
âWhen I develop keynotes, each one is designed for the specific participants and event. I always want to make novice technology users feel comfortable while fueling the creative and visionary needs of advanced users. Conference participants enjoy the many examples of different applications which I include, model, and discuss with them. However, I also use these opportunities to interact with teachers, answer their questions and address their needs for theory, practice and encouragement. All of us enjoy such rich educational exchanges and the teachers and students benefit.â
