Leicestershire, Uk (PressExposure) June 03, 2009 -- Pasquill, part of Saint-Gobain Building Distributionâs Timber Group, has launched what is believed to be the first timber industry website to include a facility where architects and builders can upload drawings and obtain product specification advice.
The new online facility is already proving popular with architects and specifiers who can now send their drawings to Pasquillâs expert design team via a dedicated section on the companyâs new website.
Stuart McKill, managing director of Pasquill Roof Trusses, said: âArchitects often wish to use timber because of its green credentials and its aesthetic appeal but they sometimes need expert advice about the performance and application of engineered timber products. Our unique drawings upload facility gives architects fast and convenient access to in-depth product knowledge and enables them to ensure specifications are accurate.â
The new online service is an extension of Pasquillâs design service for customers and supports the companyâs commitment to providing unbeatable local service nationwide.
Now one of the largest suppliers of engineered timber in the UK, like i-beams, Pasquill strengthened its brand presence and national network at the end of last year when it integrated its business by merging with sister company RK Timber Engineering.
