Pastor Gets Ticked Off At The Church And Writes A Book!

Henderson, NC (PressExposure) September 25, 2006 -- Pastor Bob Wagner decided enough is enough. He has worked with hurting Christians, hurting churches, dying churches and churches in division, they all have the same problems and all if them can be helped with the same solutions. Those problems and solutions can be found in his new book titled "Hey Church Your Fly is Open" It is bold, it is confrontational and it is direct says Wagner. "Some people can be spoken to in a soft and easy tone and they get it the first time, others need a 2x4 upside their head before they wake up. This book is my 2x4! It is not for the Christian who needs to be coddled. It is blunt and to the point." I have received a few negative comments about the name, but it stays and I explain why inside the book, besides, it will make the average person want to pick it up, just to see what it is about and that is what I want to happen."

Pastor Wagner has been in the ministry for over 12 years and ministered in small and large churches. His heart is for the hurting church, the ones who have gotten off course and strayed and are suffering because of it. "We don't need additional churches going up until the ones we already have are filled and healthy." It is easy to close the church doors and move on or find another church to attend but that is not what God wants. He wants us to get our act together. People are leaving the church, not because they don't believe anymore, but because they don't want to put up with the junk anymore. Church is not effective and communities are not any better because they are there. More often than not, the church is experiencing the same problems as the unchurched and many business meetings in the church look more like a Jerry Springer show than a group of Christians.

This book is confrontational and it will cause the reader to examine not only themselves but the way they "Do Church."
