On this weeklong sojourn visitors will enjoy a comprehensive Peruvian adventure starting from Cusco, to Sacred Valley, to Machu Picchu, back to Cusco, and then to Tambopata. All this touring fun is available at affordable rates starting from $1478, an amount that includes breakfast, lunch, and supper. The highlight of the trip as would be expected is the Machu Picchu tour – has made efforts to optimize the tour circuit experience and have deliberately dedicated 2 days for this breathtaking stopover.

Guests will on Day 1 arrive at the Cusco airport and be booked into their hotels. Later in the day they will tour the ancient Incan capital and also tour the Cusco countryside. Day 2 will start with a tour of the Sacred Valley. After having lunch the guests will tour the colourful and brisk Indian market of Pisac.

Day 3 will see the guests head for the Ollanta train station where they will board the Orient Express and head for Machu Picchu. On arrival they will be taken by motor coach to the site of The Lost City for a comprehensive guided tour. This tour will take them to among other sites, the Main Square, Royal Quarters, and Burial Grounds. After the overnight stay, Day 4 will see the guests take charge of the Machu Picchu tour so as to enjoy their personal preferences without guides. Hiking to the Huayna Picchu summit is a recommended activity. In the afternoon the group will reassemble and subsequently take the train back to Cusco and into comfortable hotel rooms for a well earned rest.

Day 5 will start with a flight to Puerto Maldonado. After a 25-minute canoe trip along the Madre de Dios River, a 30-minute trek, and a subsequent canoe and catamaran ride, the entourage will arrive at Sandoval Lake Lodge where they’ll enjoy some sightseeing before breaking for the day. Day 6 in Tambopata will feature a tour of the Uppera Jungle where lots of wildlife will be observed.
