Pikes Peak Library District Launches 2-Way Renewal Services with Fanggle's Libserra Mobile (SMS) and Social Media Based 3.0 Platform

Irvine, CA (PressExposure) February 17, 2011 -- Pikes Peak Library District has launched Fanggle's Libserra - Library 2-Way Renewal service, which enables the library to engage with its patrons via mobile devices. PPLD can send due date, reminder and renewal notices via SMS and/ or mobile smartphone applications, and patrons are now able to respond instantly to renew a book. Future capabilities may include making a payment or asking a question via the patrons phone.

Carolyn Coulter, Information Technology and Virtual Services Officer for Pikes Peak states the following, "Fanggle worked with us to design a two-way notification for renewals that met our policies and needs. They were very attentive to our requirements, and I am delighted to have this new feature available for our patrons."
