Poetry with Passion Winner J Elwood Davis

Hermitage, PA (PressExposure) July 12, 2010 -- A prestigious award of a decorated with the American flag, this beautiful, large Bronze cast eagle rests on a black base for a truly patriotic award. This eagle is 12" tall with 10" wingspan. The beautiful award went to J. Elwood Davis for his win on Poetry with Passion's 'Patriotic Poem Contest' for the poem 'Unpaid Bills.' It is truly a work of art and emotion.

The win was unanimously chosen by the Poetry with Passion administration Team which includes Carol and Terry Eckart, Joree Williams, Helen McManus and owner Daveda Gruber.

The award was a deserving win for the Veteran of the Vietnam War. Davis having one book out entitled 'The Blue Collar Scholar' is finishing up a book that will be published by Publishing with Passion. The poetry world is waiting in anticipation for this upcoming release.

J. Elwood, better known for his poet's handle 'Raindance,' is well revered and loved in the poetic world. Congratulations to J. Elwood Davis!
