Publishing Event Aims to Help Authors and Publishers Earn Money With Their Books

Wilkes-barre, PA (PressExposure) April 08, 2009 -- Tony Michalski, the owner of Kallisti Publishing and your gracious host here, has been invited to speak at Fred Gleeck’s Publishing Seminar, a two-day event that assembles the best and brightest in the publishing industry to instruct authors and publishers about how to make money with their books.

Mr. Michalski’s talk, which is aimed to help aspiring authors get published with a small publishing company, will cover the following topics –

Working with a Small Publishing Company Self-publishing vs. traditional publishing: Which is better for you? Why your work has just begun even though your book is finished. The main thing a publisher looks at when deciding to publish a book. The top three things a publisher can do for you and your book. Editing and making changes: Who gets the final say? How much should you pay an agent to represent your book?

Also speaking at the event are Fred Gleeck, Kevin Hogan, Bob Bly, and David Hamilton.

If you are interested in publishing books and other information products, you need to come to the Publishing Seminar. If you’re an author or publisher (or aspiring to be one) this is the event to attend. You could choose to attend events given by bigger “names” in the field, but you will not learn nearly as much as you will here.

The Publishing Seminar will be held in New York City on May 26 and 27.
