To provide training that would open more career opportunities in the field of media the Delhi University in collaboration with R.K.Films and Media Academy has started a number of sort term courses for training the youths in the field of media and entertainment.
Mr. N.C. Bansal, Chairman, R. K. Films and Media Academy says that the courses offered include such innovative fields like Radio Jockeying, TV news reading, theatre acting and presentation, 2D and 3D animation.
In Radio Jockeying the training is given on hands âon practical exposure in the news rooms and Studio environment making them aware of nuances such as scripting, writing radio jingles, handing interviews, voice pitch & diction.
The theatre acting & presentation course, on the other hand, aims at makings students aware of body language, diction, expression, voice modulation, dialogue delivery besides facing the camera.
Students of Delhi University are eligible to apply for the course. Students of School of Open Learning (SOL) and Non Collegiate Womenâs Education Board (NCWEB) would be given preference in admissions. The course is also open to former students of DU. The forms for admission are available at the COL campus, Keshavpuram Centre.
