Recovering Adrenaline Addict Trades Showbiz for Own Spiritual Life Coaching Company

Playa Del Rey, CA (PressExposure) April 15, 2009 -- Adoley Odunton, award-winning British actress and former executive for Republic Pictures and CBS Television, recovers from adrenaline addiction burnout by forming online company to help others through spiritual life coaching. In 1996, Odunton was forced to stop working at her high-pressure executive job because of a mysterious medical condition first mis-diagnosed as lupus. Five years and dozens of mis-diagnoses later, the disease was still a mystery, but the cause of her lupus-like symptoms was determined to have been adrenal fatigue brought on by her high-pressure lifestyle.

Although adrenal fatigue is not widely recognized in traditional medicine, it is a syndrome gaining credibility in the holistic medical field. Refusing the traditional medical treatment of steroids, Odunton pursued alternative treatments. The process forced her to radically alter her lifestyle and created an awareness of spiritual principles that addressed the root cause of her illness. She left the glamor, lavish perks and high salaried positions of show business for an unknown destination.

Realizing that adrenaline addiction was, in fact, the root cause of her illness, Odunton wrote her first book with co-author Deborah Deras entitled "Confessions of an Adrenaline Addict". In pursuit of a cure that does not exist in traditional medicine, Odunton then experimented with every form of alternative and spiritually based naturopathic medicine she could find.

After reading author Wayne Dyer, she came to believe as he states in the title of his book, "There's a Spiritual Solution for Every Problem". Having depleted her savings and with no income, she endured bankruptcy and loss of two homes in Los Angeles while pursuing the answer for her life-threatening illness that had no known cure. Her face, torso, arms and legs broke out in lesions and scabbed over. Her eyes and mucous membranes hemorrhaged blood regularly and she was often unable to stand up after sleeping for more than a few hours.

Unable to work, she was supported by her husband as she pursued spiritual studies at Agape International Center of Truth in Culver City, California. While earning her certification as a Licensed Spiritual Practitioner from that organization, Odunton began to find relief through meditation, prayer and spiritual counseling. A gradual realization that she needed to stop "doing" and start "being" resolved her internal addiction to adrenaline for motivation in her life. A complete dietary change to raw fruit and vegetable juices and salads combined with vitamin and mineral supplements continued her recovery toward health.

She went on to receive certification from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute in Tarzana, California as a hypnotherapist and began working as a spiritual coach and hypnotherapist. In 2005, she opened her coaching and hypnotherapy center in Fullerton, California with her husband, Jim Proser. Over 4 years of operation, the business, Healthier Living, achieved remarkable results in restoring health for a wide range of clients by applying Odunton's integrated conscious and sub-conscious, spiritually-based therapy programs.

In 2008, the company closed operations in Fullerton to focus on internet teleseminars and delivering Odunton's programs via download. Today, Adoley still bears the scars of her ordeal, but these are fading quickly and are expected to be gone in less than 6 months. She and her husband, operate Healthier Living from Playa del Rey, California by webcasting interview teleseminars featuring experts in many fields to clients around the world over the internet. The company sells Adoley's programs for weight loss, stress reduction, to quit smoking and to achieve financial freedom as a result of Odunton's experience that all life goals, including wellness of body, mind, spirit and finances are addressed first at the spiritual level.
