Recovery Now! Joins BlogTalkRadio

Oconomowoc, WI (PressExposure) February 25, 2009 -- Mission Enabled announced today that its drug addiction and alcoholism internet radio program, Recovery Now!, will be offered on on Monday afternoons at 3:00PM (Central), beginning February 17.

The show, which was first offered in July 2008 on and, focuses on the 12 Step Recovery process and features expert guests from around the country. The talk show is centered on a “kitchen table” discussion of the 12 Steps and issues relating to treatment and recovery.

“We are moving forward to the next step for Recovery Now! by going live on BlogTalkRadio to try to reach individuals with the disease of addiction, their families, or those seeking information on what to do,” said Ned Wicker, host of the show. “This is an exciting development and a great addition for our listeners. ”

The co-host of the show is Rev. Dr. Dan Geeding, the chaplain at Waukesha (WI) Memorial Hospital, whose dissertation “Ministering to 12 Step oriented persons through Biblical curriculum in the context of Parish Nursing” is the underlying inspiration for the show.

The show caters to a national and international audience, featuring the wisdom and insights of recovery professionals, such as author and Chaplain Joe Herzanek, the author of “Why Don’t They Just Quit.”

“It has been a pleasure and a rare privilege to partner with Joe Herzanek, who became an immediate hit with listeners and a regular on the show,” said Geeding. “His book is our Bible on Recovery Now! and he has been an inspiration to us.”
