San Antonio, TX (PressExposure) July 22, 2011 -- "The Complete Newbies Guide To Audio Recording Awesomeness Video Course" is, as the name implies, "awesome." If you do or want to do any audio recording at all, such as recording your voice for podcasts and videos, creating professional quality audio books or voice overs (start a new career as a voice over actor!), recording killer music demos to show off your talent, or producing an entire CD of your music to release under your own record label, you NEED to check this out.
The folks at Home Brew Audio know how to explain complicated or technical topics in a way that anyone can understand them. How they make everything seem so easy is amazing, and they pull it off with tons of humor and patience. They understand that most of the tutorials or courses on audio recording available today are written in "engineer-ese" so that you need a degree in audio engineering to understand the concepts. So they set out to create a course that "regular" folks can understand with ease. Heck my grandmother could go through these tutorial videos and come away knowing what you need to know to create professional quality audio.
Another great thing about this course is that the message from the start is "knowledge trumps gear." So if you understand just a few important principles, you won't need expensive gear to create excellent results. In fact, the course, which is 10 lessons, takes you through producing your own audio content with gear costing between 0 and $5.00! Let me say that again. You can go through this course without having to spend more than about 5 bucks on gear, if anything. Yes, you will want to add gear and capability to your computer home recording studio over time, but that can be done in very affordable increments (usually about $50 per level-up) AS YOU NEED IT. If you were to ask your local music store folks what you need to start a home recording studio, you'd be walking out with hundreds or even thousands of dollars of gear that you didn't understand how to use. And the irony is...you'd still probably make crappy recordings!
So like I said, if you have any intention of ever recording on a computer recording studio, don't do anything before you go through this "The Complete Newbies Guide To Audio Recording Awesomeness Video Course". It might become the best $37 you ever spent.
