Richard Murrell, Featured Artist at 2nd Annual 10 X 10 Benefit Art Exhibit

Brunswick, ME (PressExposure) September 29, 2009 -- Richard (Dick) Murrell of Turner, ME has been a selected featured artist at the 10 X 10 Benefit Art Exhibit on October 9th and 10th in Brunswick, ME.

The 2nd Annual 10 X 10 Benefit Art Exhibit & Sale opens with a reception on Friday, October 9, running from 5pm-8pm to coincide with Brunswick’s Second Friday Art Walk. Refreshments will be served and many of the participating artists will be attending opening night. The sale continues on Saturday, October 10, from 10am-2pm.

Art will be on exhibit for the entire month of October at all three venues on Pleasant Street in Brunswick. Venues include Morrell Meeting Room in Curtis Memorial Library, Points of View Art Gallery in the Brunswick Business Center and Gallery Framing.

Richard Murrell, a seasoned local photographer, has been “snapping” local fare for many years, but his photography goes well beyond the radius of Auburn, ME. From skate boarders at Kennedy Park, to Cardinals in the Vatican, Murrell’s camera has captured images from all over the world.

Dick is a Speech/Language Pathologist currently working at Montello Elementary School in Lewiston, Maine. He lives in Turner, Maine, with his wife, Carol, who also is a photographer.
