Sacramento Top Dog Contest Offers Gifts to Voters and Top Dogs

Sacramento, CA (PressExposure) May 19, 2009 -- By watching videos of the Sacramento top dog contestants in the Sac Top Dog Contest, it’s easy to decide your favorite K9 police dog on the force. Simply go to [] , make your decision and then vote.

“The purpose of the contest is to raise awareness of the great K9 police dogs and their handlers in our community. The contest is also a fundraiser to provide some of the extra things that the K9 handlers need,” Dr. Donna Schwontkowski (ret), Event Coordinator said.

The three top dogs and their handlers will receive a weekend stay at a nice bed and breakfast or dude ranch, Petco gift certificate, specialized emergency sponges/bandages that stops bleeding and other small pet gifts.

Voters receive these downloadable gifts: • Pet articles from Health & Fitness Magazine • The MDM (Million Dollar Memory) Sacramento Bad Girls and Bad Boys Identification Program • Finding Miss Tilly and the Golden Thread, an ebook about how dogs shaped one dog-owner’s life

A specialized emergency bandage that stops bleeding will also be awarded as prizes; this type of bandage has saved more than 150 soldiers’ lives in Afghanistan.
