Small Business Owners to Meet at Business to Business Network Event at College in Detroit

Plymouth, MI (PressExposure) October 05, 2009 -- The Small Business Owners’ Roundtable is Metro Detroit’s fastest growing business networking group. Membership is open to the public; it’s free to join and there is no charge to attend meetings. Group leader, Mark Maupin, invites all small business owners, self-employed individuals and anyone who is interested in starting their own business to attend a meeting to network and learn from others who are successful.

Business owners who attend are welcome to bring their business cards, flyers and promotional material to market their business. Vendor tables are available for those who call Mark at 248-939-6232 to reserve a space, free of charge!

The purpose of this group is to gather like-minded individuals together to network and learn from each other while they promote their own business or services. Those who attend are encouraged to introduce themselves, at the front of the room, and speak for 5 – 10 minutes about their business.

The group meets the 1st Thursday of each month. This month’s meeting will feature a guest speaker to address how to manage your credit and, if necessary, how to restore your credit so it works for you, not against you. In addition, participants will discuss different techniques when forming and financing a business while learning how to distinguish themselves to stand out among the pack.

The Small Business Owner’s Roundtable meets Thursday, October 1, from 6pm to 9pm, at Wayne County Community College – Eastern Campus, Cooper Room; 5901 Conner; Detroit, MI 48213. Visit [] for details on all upcoming events.
