Baarn, Netherlands (PressExposure) July 09, 2007 -- Mobile Excellence B.V. and Lensoft International Ltd. are proud to announce that the second Beta version of Sudoku-Ball(R), Beta 1.0.8, has been released.
In less then 2 years time Sudoku has taken the number one position in the world of brain teasing puzzles and has become a global multi million dollar business. Based on the intriguing theme of magic squares, many variations of this seemingly simple exercise have been tried in the market and what has started as a casual puzzle to kill otherwise wasted time has now become a global sport with tournaments television shows and considerable sponsor interests.
The Dutch inventor Hans van Briemen studied what he calls âthe beautiful isomorphism of magic squares and geometric shapesâ and together with Lensoft International his company developed the 3D Sudoku-Ball with a so called âclosed Samurai Sudoku network gridâ.
The result is a new puzzle phenomenon that can now be played on the internet and is expected to keep players busy for many challenging and exiting hours.
Hans van Briemen: âWhat has begun as a unique idea has eventually cost us months of development and mathematical struggle, but we are glad with this first result and initial feed-back from our beta testers is excellent.â
Besides the online version that can be played using any webbrowser, the company is planning the production and marketing of real PVC Sudoku-Balls together with partners in Mexico and Europe.
