Toronto, Canada (PressExposure) December 04, 2009 -- GAO Embedded (www.GAOEmbedded.com [http://www.GAOEmbedded.com]) has released its JTAG Scan Path TI D SP Emulator Pod [http://www.gaoembedded.com/emulator_debugger_gao_xds510pp_jtag_scan_path_ti_dsp_emulator_pod-p-20.html] used for debugging hardware and software and for flash programming. The emulator supports bi-directional ECP and EPP transfer; it also supports TI DSPs and microcontrollers with JTAG interfaces. This emulator pod operates via a parallel port on a PC or laptop.
The DSP emulator pod, model XDS510PP, is compatible with Texas Instrument's XDS510, +3.3V or +5V processors, SPI110 Opto Pod and four-channel JTAG expanders, as well as, Composer Studio from TI, "SDFlash" programming utility from Spectrum Digital and other programming utilities developed by TI. It runs under Windows 98ME, 2000, NT, and XP operating systems. The emulator pod can be powered by either the target board or included adapter. It offers hardware detection in the event of a power failure or cable disconnects and all pod signals are ESD protected.
