Kolkata, India (PressExposure) July 07, 2009 -- For Immediate Release Unitedworld School of Business, India's first institute with an intelligent campus, will help students with three years' work experience build a career in finance or general management from July.
The institute has campuses in Salt Lake, Mumbai and Ahmadabad.
"The highlight of this school of business is the i-campus or the intelligent-campus which is not a standard ERP system which is a number-driven software," said Tridibesh Bandyopadhyay, the dean of studies.
"The system is a single interface. This is 24x7 and gives details of every student and their performance for his/her multi-dimensional development. This will help us create employment. It also helps us know trends of a class and specific students," he added.
The students of a class will be analysed on a weekly basis and will be clustered into homogeneous groups.
"The i-campus is geared towards education, better employability aspect of an individual and daily feedback of each," said Bandyopadhyay
The exposure is guaranteed because of the inter-campus mobility among the different campuses. The exam pattern is set in a way so that it's the same across campuses. The faculty members are from universities such as Harvard, MIT, Princeton and LSE.
"Visiting faculty will only help second-year students in their specialisation," said Bandyopadhyay.
Students not only specialise in units such as marketing, finance and human resource but also in retail management, agribusiness, entrepreneurship and international business.
"Due to the global economic slump our students will learn new paradigms about management blended with ethics to develop a global mindset to address contemporary business issues efficiently," explained the dean.
